Dear Angela and Mark   Thank you both so much for the extremely speedy and efficient manner in which you managed the sales of my mother’s apartment and garage. It is a great relief to us all to have those responsibilities out of the way and the money safely in the bank.  We also appreciated the tip to use Currencies Direct, whose staff have been most helpful and obliging, and I am confident that the funds will be transferred back to the UK in the most cost efficient manner. Interestingly we discovered that my mother had used their services before, so she was already registered with them, which saved a lot of hassle.  They even collected her from the care home by car and took her to the bank this morning to pay in the cheque - very brave!   The price achieved for the apartment and speed of the sale both exceeded my mother's expectations and we now plan for her to return to England on 23 April.
